Provide background information on the full-scale fire tests and fire protection and detection equipment testing that is the basis for FM Global fire protection criteria, installation guidelines and FM Global Approved fire protection and detection equipment. In addition, this presentation will provide guidance on the FM Global Plan Review Services for proposed fire protection and detection system installations.
Attendees will have a better understanding of the FM Global Research and full scale fire testing capabilities used to develop fire protection guidelines for various storage and occupancy hazards. In addition, they will get an understanding of the performance testing conducted for fire protection and detection equipment used for our design/installation guidelines certification of FM Approved Products. Finally, this presentation will provide an understanding of the FM Global Plan Review Services provided to FM Global and AFM commercial property insurance clients for the submittal of drawings and specifications for proposed fire protection and detection system installations.
