Steven S. Redden
I hereby offer myself as a candidate for the office of Northeastern Region VP for consideration by the ASCET Nominating Committee. I know I will find it very rewarding, but in particular, to be that conduit between the local chapters and National.
I will be attending the national meeting this year and will be a guest speaker. On the local level, I have attended meetings in Baltimore, Delaware, South Jersey, and North Jersey. I have had the opportunity to be part of local meetings, meeting local members, and meeting local chapter presidents. I feel that my contributions at both the national and local levels will be well received and appreciated. As part of my duties, I will ensure the local chapters have all the support they may need.
I currently work as operations manager for Anaconda Protective Concepts, where I have been working for over 10 years. I am sure as with many officers, I do have my job duties and family commitments. With that though, I do have the ability to commit the time necessary for the needs of ASCET. I have several years’ experience with volunteer organizations. In particular, as a member of The Freemasons I was involved with many areas including seven years as an officer (2009-2016) and Master (President) of my Lodge in 2015. I also chaired committees such as the David C Burris Masonic Scholarship foundation 2012-2016, and the Building Committee for the Masonic Lodge 2009-2016. I feel my experience with my Masonic Lodge gives me preparation for the position and types of duties of Regional Vice President.
