The ASCET Nominating Committee is elected by the Board of Directors at its meeting held at the beginning of the fiscal and administrative year. It is comprised of one member and one alternate from each ASCET region. The chair, who shall be a Past National President, is also elected by the Board.
This committee shall canvass the Society for candidates for the offices of President, Secretary-Treasurer, and Regional Vice Presidents as appropriate.
August 1st: Provide a Call for Candidates article for publication
November 30th: Deadline for Candidate submittal.
December 5th: Deadline for submittal of Candidate resume.
December 20th: Deadline for committee selection of nominees.
January 2nd: Chair report of nominees to the President and Tellers Committee.
February 1st: Deadline for nominees and ballot to the publications committee for publication in the March/April issue of CET Magazine.
March 15th: Ballots distributed by mail or CET Magazine.
May 15th: Deadline for ballots to reach the tellers committee.
June 1st: Results given to the Executive Committee and posted.
